NECS Co., Ltd.’s vibration analysis and design technology is rooted in the audio technology of its affiliated company, Lead Audio Co., Ltd.
Lead Audio Co., Ltd., based on its proprietary DRC(Digital Room Correction) technology, developed a DAC(Digital-to-Analog Converter) for Hi-Fi audio. In 2010, it launched the LA-100 DAC, a high-end DAC for headphones with a 48 kHz sampling frequency, drawing industry attention by being featured in Hi-Fi magazines across Europe. It was also selected as a Best Product of 2010/2011 by the Swedish Hi-Fi magazine HiFi & Musik.
It then launched the LA-200 DAC AMP in 2012, allowing users to connect directly to Hi-Fi speakers and enjoy high-quality sound without headphones. In 2013, it also became the first in the industry to launch a high-quality DAC with a 192 kHz sampling frequency.
In 2020, NECS adopted repulsive magnetic actuator(RMA) technology, invented in Finland, which uses two opposing magnets, and has been developing application technologies that combine it with its DAC expertise to deliver sophisticated sound and haptics.
