NECS RMA is a haptic solution applicable to wearable devices and compact XR/VR interfaces. It can simultaneously deliver haptic feedback and audio output even within limited space, and, depending on design requirements, can also be applied as a speaker replacement. In addition, induced voltage signals generated by external input can be utilized for touch- and pressure-based input sensing structures. With a lineup ranging from compact models to various sizes, it can be used in the design of wrist-worn devices, headsets, controllers, and localized input interfaces.
Applications: Smartwatches, band-type devices, XR/VR headsets, controllers, etc.
Applicable Areas: Touch interfaces, pressure input areas, localized haptic trigger zones
Key Function: Provides haptic feedback, simultaneous haptic and sound output
Scalability: Applicable to touch- and surface-displacement-based input sensing structures, suitable for compact form factors
Expected Benefits: Improved operation recognition, interface differentiation, enhanced immersive user experience, and speaker replacement
